Elegant iPad experience Osmos coming to iPhone this week

Multitouch controlled iPad experience Osmos is getting squeezed down to fit the iPhone’s diminutive screen, as it comes out for Apple’s smaller gadgets later this week.
The game, which sees you absorbing smaller single-cell organisms in a Feeding Frenzy styled food chain, seems to work just as well on the smaller screen and will pack all the same gestures and features, including pinch to zoom, swipe to speed up and slow down time, and even three finger taps for menus.
The video (embedded below), narrated by developer Hemisphere Games, explains that some levels have been adapted to better fit the aspect ratio of the iPhone, and difficulty has been tweaked and tuned specifically for the smaller size.
Osmos has racked up critical acclaim and tremendous player feedback since its iPad release, and will now be available to everyone as it hits iPod touch and iPhone on August 5th. It will cost £1.79 / $2.99 / €2.39.
