Odin: Valhalla Rising is turning up the heat this summer with its second major content update. Following the addition of Guild Dungeons and amassing 20 million downloads last month, the Norse mythology-inspired MMORPG now introduces new challenges and rewards in the form of an elite dungeon, a tropical event island, and beach-ready outfits, all available now.
The headliner of Odin: Valhalla Rising’s latest update is the Shadow Fortress, an elite dungeon built for coordinated guild runs and high-stakes encounters. Expect no mercy here. The zone is player kill-enabled, meaning anyone can take you out without consequence, and in true chaos fashion, name tags are disabled.

Conquering this dangerous area not only rewards up to legendary-grade gear but also grants materials needed for the new Imprint progression system, letting you push your stats even further. The stakes are high, and the rewards even higher for those who dare step into the fortress’s shadow.
For a change of pace, the Summer Island event dungeon offers a more festive battlefield. Available for four weeks, this tropical battleground rewards you with event items and a chance to grab the limited-time Summer Party Scroll.
These can be exchanged for tickets to unlock exclusive summer skins. Each character has four warm weather looks available until July 30th. A login reward event also runs alongside this update, offering up to 77 summon tickets and other useful items.
And if you missed last month's update, it introduced a new dungeon where you must survive ten stages in a row. Open to those above level four, this boss dungeon comes alongside several new Guild Mechanics that will elevate your co-op experience.
