A mere hundred days since launch, Norse-themed MMORPG Odin: Valhalla Rising has already accrued a whopping four million downloads. With that in mind, it's little surprise Kakao Games has some big rewards and major surprises around the corner. Odin: Valhalla Rising's new roadmap lays out a suite of amazing new additions to the already jam-packed MMORPG!
The suite of new updates is split into three chapters, the first of which is set to arrive soon. Chapter One is that of Domain Conquest, which includes highly anticipated guild vs guild combat. You'll occupy bases throughout the world through battles, receiving protection for eight hours and earning Occupation points by defeating monsters, which you can then use to activate buffs!
Chapter Two, meanwhile, is that of the World Dungeon. This cross-server competition sees guilds from the same server group competing against one another. Up to six guilds can jump in and aim to make it to the final battle, where rewards include a mythic-grade mount and a legendary, limited-time item. The winning server also gets server-wide buffs to mark the victory.
Horned helms and mead
Finally, we've got Chapter Three. And this one is certainly a doozy as it introduces none other than the fiery realm of Musphelheim. Based on the mythological land of fire, it's full of blazing lava fields and charred ashland. This update includes new main and sub quests, as well as the party dungeon Abyss of Splendor, where the fire giant Surtr serves as the final boss.You'll also want to keep an eye out for a host of coupons on offer to mark the latest milestone, equating to huge savings for fans.
