Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword sneaks in some new DS screenshots before release

Mere weeks ago Ubisoft announced a UK release date of late June for Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword, Team Ninja's innovative, third-person martial arts slasher that's been out in the US for over a month now.

And today the publisher has treated us to some new screenshots of the game, as well as two videos of it being played (which you can see here and here).

The game is innovative because you play it with your DS held vertically, which allows for easier stylus movements to activate the game's different attacks and weapons.

It's also one of the fastest games we've yet seen running on our used and abused Lite – just check out the videos for proof.

If you like what you see (and we thought it was pretty good when we reviewed it), Ninja Gaiden will be attacking Europe's shop shelves on June 27th.
