PlayStation Suite heading to Tegra Android phones and tablets

Do not underestimate the power of the PlayStation brand

PlayStation Suite heading to Tegra Android phones and tablets
|

Nvidia has revealed that Sony’s PlayStation suite will be made compatible with Tegra 2-equipped android phones and tablets later in the year.

Games expected to be available to purchase at launch include the ground-breaking Syphon Filter, the classic Cool Boarders 2, and one I’ve never heard of (which is likely to annoy those who have) called Wild Arms. It’s a JRPG, according to Wikipedia.

While it’s only original PSone games that have been revealed so far for the PlayStation Suite, considering the new Tegra dual-core chips are clocked at 1GHz (and the PS2 was just shy of 300MHz single-core), we wouldn’t be too surprised to see some more recent games became available down the line.

Personally, I’m hoping for Chrono Cross and Bust a Groove to make the cut. What PSX games are you most looking forward to seeing on a Tegra phone/tablet? Let us know in the comments thread below.
