Voting for the PG People's Choice Award 2025 is now open

Every vote counts

Voting for the PG People's Choice Award 2025 is now open

After several weeks of nominations, voting is now open for the Pocket Gamer People's Choice Award 2025. You all came forward with some fantastic suggestions, and now they've been whittled down to twenty. If your favourite game from last year is on there, wonderful. But your work isn't done yet. Voting is open now and will close at midnight on July 31st, so make sure you get involved (and tell a few friends) if you want your pick to come out on top.

If you missed the nomination stage, don't worry. I'm sure something you enjoyed over the last year made the shortlist, which you can check out below:

Quite the collection, right? As I often find, I'm glad the winner is in your hands, as I'd struggle to pick just one from that selection. Of course, that's partly because Dredge didn't get nominated. For shame! I jest, naturally. The PG People's Choice is your folks' opinion, not mine.

When will we find out the winner?

Okay, now you know that you have until midnight on July 31st to cast your votes, but what happens after that? When do the winners get announced? Well, we're hosting a swanky (at least, I assume it'll be swanky or some other similar adjective) awards presentation evening on Tuesday, August 19th. The astute among you will recognise that's Gamescom time, and, therefore, won't be surprised to learn it'll be at the Gürzenich in Cologne. It'll then be up on the website shortly after, meaning there's no need to dust off your suit if you're a stay-at-home type like me.
