Nvidia and Samsung announce new Galaxy R smartphone
It's a bit of a beast, too

Nvidia and Samsung have officially announced the next Galaxy smartphone, and it's shaping up to be a powerhouse.
It's called the Galaxy R, and it packs a 4.19-inch LCD touchscreen, is powered by a Tegra 2 "super chip", and contains 8GB of internal storage. 720p HD video capture and 1080p full HD playback are supported, naturally.
The Android 2.3 operating system, Gingerbread, is preinstalled, and hardware-accelerated Adobe Flash support means you'll get access to Flash-enabled content that certain other devices don't.
It measures 125.7x66.7x9.55mm, and weighs in at 131 grams. Lighter than an iPhone 4, in other words.
The Galaxy R is already available in Sweden, and will be hitting other regions "soon", including North and East European, the Middle East, and China. No word on a UK release date yet.
