Nintendo of America will shake up StreetPasses on December 14 & 15

Are you an American 3DS owner eager to fill out your StreetPass Plaza with miis from across the country?

If so, Nintendo of America has some good news for you - it's planning a massive shake-up of the StreetPass system at Nintendo Zone locations.

During the weekend of December 14-15, you'll meet miis from all over North America if you carry your 3DS past a Nintendo Zone location as Nintendo shuffles up its stored StreetPass data.

Previously, you'd only meet the last six miis of people who physically wandered past a Nintendo Zone location - leading to a geographically bland StreetPass Plaza.

This special event, which Nintendo is cheekily referring to as "National StreetPass Weekend", is a great chance to grab some puzzle pieces and nab the elusive Wyoming, North Dakota, and Alaska StreetPasses.

So if you're in the market for more miis, be sure to take your 3DS out into the wild next weekend.
