New Star Soccer goes free-to-play on Android with a ton of new features added

New Star Soccer is now free-to-play on Android as of today, following an update which also adds a ton of new features.

As we reported two weeks ago, today's update means that the Android version of New Star Soccer has caught up with the iOS edition at last.

On the pitch, these new features include headers, new boots that allow for real-time swerve control, additional commentary, and post-match headlines.

While off the pitch there are new lifestyle items, an updated league structure, new artwork, and up to three save slots for your career.

The full list of new features can be seen on the App Store [download], while a summary is provided on Google Play [download].

Those that previously bought the game can continue their careers with a Pro License, while newcomers will have to invest in an in-app purchase to go Pro.

New Star Soccer earned a Gold Award from us, and that was before the slew of updates. In our review we said: "You'll suffer the highs and lows of its simply presented matches with the grin of a true addict plastered across your face".
