MLB 9 Innings Rivals, the latest entry in Com2uS' baseball series, will release for iOS and Android next month

Com2uS has announced a new, officially licensed baseball that's releasing for iOS and Android this July. It's called MLB 9 Inning Rivals and promises to deliver console-quality graphics on mobile. Pre-registration is underway, and you can sign up on the official website to earn Impact Packs and Advanced Scout Tickets when it launches.

As with any officially licensed sports game, MLB 9 Inning Rivals has a few featured athletes to its name. The LA Dodgers are represented by their first baseman Freddie Freeman and shortstop Xander Bogaerts means the San Diego Padres have received some love.

MLB 9 Innings Rivals was made with mobile at the forefront of the developers' minds, allowing you to choose between playing it in either landscape or portrait. Beyond that, it also has a variety of modes available, with each offering different playtimes to suit your current preferences. Some of those game variants include Quick Play, Highlight, or Full Play.

Beyond that, you will work on making your team the best it can be. You can level them up in numerous ways, whether that's in Events, through Scouting or by using the Player Progression system. You can check out the reveal trailer above.

Discussing the latest entry in the series, Richard Grisham, Director of Business Development at Com2uS USA, said: “Our incredible fans have resonated with the yearly innovation across all our licensed sports titles; MLB 9 Innings Rivals is for them.”

“We wanted to combine all the knowledge we’ve gained over the years with the tremendous feedback of our community to deliver a new baseball franchise with the most realistic action we’ve ever achieved.”

MLB 9 Inning Rivals is available to pre-register on the App Store and Google Play ahead of its launch in July. It will be a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. If you're interested, you can pre-order before the release by clicking the link for your preferred platform below.
