If you downloaded it recently, this is a must-read guide for you. We will share essential tips and tricks to help you clear all nine stages in the guide for Mighty Doom!

Background

Might Doom is an action shooter developed by Alpha Dog Games and Bethesda Softworks. It is set in the popular Doom universe.

In it, you play as a slayer defeating demons and clearing stages. There are nine levels at present, and more are expected to be added in future updates. Clearing the first two stages, Earth and Earth Pt.2, is relatively easy, and you can quickly clear these stages in a couple of tries. However, starting from Stage 3, Exultia, it becomes quite challenging, and you will need to upgrade your equipment, masteries and slayer.

In this Might Doom, essential tips and tricks guide, we will cover everything from what to upgrade to how you should approach levels to clear them quickly. So buckle up, and let's start slaying some monsters.

Upgrade Masteries, Slayer and Gears

Mini Slayer equipment in Mighty Doom

If it becomes challenging to clear a stage, you should return to the lobby and upgrade your slayer and weapons. A slight upgrade can easily help you get back to killing monsters and clearing stages.

Your priority should be to upgrade masteries. Remember, upgrading masteries permanently makes you stronger. However, you can only upgrade masteries to a certain limit based on your level, after which you can only upgrade them further when your level increases. As soon as your level increases, upgrade your masteries to the maximum and then focus on upgrading your slayers and gear.

Between those two, you should focus on upgrading your slayer before upgrading your gear, as the slayer will give you an overall boost through the game. At the same time, for weapons, you might switch to a different weapon later, and all the upgrades to the old weapon will go to waste. However, we are not saying that you completely ignore gear. Time and again, it will be a necessity to upgrade your weapons and gear to clear the stages.

Choose abilities as per your play style

Ability screen in Mighty Doom

When you are playing a stage, now and then, the game will give you the option to select an ability. When this happens, you will be given three abilities to choose from. Don't just select random abilities. Choose the one that compliments your playstyle. For example, I like to play aggressively, looking to run and gun constantly. So if I had to choose between Twin shot and Multishot, I would go with Twin shot. It makes my primary weapon more powerful, while multishot would have increased the cannon's power, which I mostly only use in boss stages.

Important Gameplay Tips

Tip #1 - Run and Gun

This might seem quite obvious, but, unlike Tomb Raider Reloaded, Might Doom allows you to shoot as you move. As such, you should be on the move almost all the time. It will help you dodge most of the bullets. However, in stages full of chaos, do be careful as you don’t want to move into the line of fire.

Tip #2 - Fight a single monster

The second important tip is to fight one enemy at a time. If you try to take the fight with multiple monsters at a time, the chances of losing increase significantly as you can only shoot one monster at a time, while all of them can shoot you. This is why you should fight with a single monster at a time.

Tip #3 - Use your surroundings

As you progress, the later stages will feature jump pads and teleportation. Make sure to use these elements to avoid bullets. Trying to dodge bullets simply by moving in the later stages will be very difficult.

Tip #4 - Never miss a glory kill

Glory kills give you HP. In a game where you can only increase your health by using an ability that comes randomly and by glory kills, you have no option but to always go for a glory kill, especially when you are low on health.

Tip #5 - Coins are auto-collected

When you start playing, the tutorial teaches you to collect coins on the maps, but don't worry about it. When you finish a stage, the coins get auto-collected in the end, so ignore them in between fights.

Tip #6 - Learn Patterns to defeat bosses

On stages like 10,20,30, and 40, you must fight against a boss enemy. At first, beating these boss monsters might seem impossible, but it's pretty easy. Each boss monster has an attacking pattern. Try to learn them, and it will become much easier for you to beat them.

With this, we come to the end of our Might Doom must-know tips and tricks. You can use the codes for Mighty Doom codes for great gifts and freebies, but stay tuned for more guides!
