Metal Slug 3, SNK's classic arcade shooter, is heading to PS Vita later in the year

Metal Slug 3 is coming to the PS Vita. Because obviously there just aren't enough devices that you can play SNK's classic run-and-gun arcade blaster on.

When we reviewed the Android version we gave it a Bronze Award and called it "an intense blast of hardcore shoot-'em-up action packed full of delightful touches."

We went on to add that "the only problem with Metal Slug 3 on iOS is that it obviously wasn't designed with touch controls in mind."

But the PS Vita has all of the buttons, so that's not something you're going to have to worry about. If you want Metal Slug 3 in your pocket, this is looking like your best bet.

We will, of course, let you know when we hear anything more concrete about the release date for the game.
