Mad Skills Motocross 3 is the latest in the popular motorcycle racing series. It features some solid graphics and some of the smoothest gameplay you'll find in a hilly-based racing game. Playing from a side view, it looks kind of similar to other popular games like Hill Climb Racing.

You race against other players and try to reach the finish line. Simple race, right? However, each track is very hilly, so it can make things tricky if you aren't careful. You'll be racing all over the world, including in countries like Germany, Canada, and Iceland.

There are also a couple of tracks based in the United States. They are Arizona and California, two places known for their warm weather and motorbiking. But, before you start your motocross adventure, we'll tell you a few things to help kick things off and get those wheels spinning.

Practice Your Balance

Mad Skills Motocross 3 tips

With Mad Skills Motocross 3 having such hilly tracks, you can believe that balance is highly critical to your success. You will gain air when riding over each little hill and this will cause you to lean forward or backwards which can lead to a nasty crash.

You can pick yourself back up after a crash and still possibly win, but avoiding wipeouts can make you a sure-fire bet to win. If other players or the CPU crashes, then this will leave the door wide open for you. There are a couple of arrow buttons you can use to balance yourself in mid-air.

The tracks can be pretty short, so there isn't much room for error out there. So, make sure to keep an eye and which direction your rider is falling and hit the proper arrow to help steer him in the right direction before he lands and then coasts to the finish line.

Pop Some Wheelies

This is both a fun and useful tip in Mad Skills Motocross 3. Since it's a racing game, the goal is to have some speed. One way to pick up speed? Pop a wheelie. If you've ever played a game like Grand Theft Auto V and rode on a motorcycle, then you'll notice performing a wheelie will help you pick up speed.

The same applies here with Mad Skills Motocross 3. It's just a little tricky to get it perfected, but it adds to the fun and challenge. And then, once you do have it mastered, you'll probably feel a sense of satisfaction. But, holding the arrow the makes you do a backflip, will allow you to perform a wheelie when you're on the ground.

Just be careful, as pulling back a bit too much will cause you to crash backward. Just try and practice it and do it at the right times and you'll be gravy. Once it becomes easier for you to do, you'll be having a wheelie good time during races (yes, that was necessary).

Upgrade Your Bike

This kind of goes without saying, but it's a good idea to upgrade your motorcycle as you progress. You can improve everything on your bike. From handlebars to the engine and everything else including the wheels, tires, and suspension.

Each of these parts of your bike contributes to different attributes. The attributes are speed, acceleration, handling, traction, and weight. There is also Total Power which is essentially your bike's overall rating, determining how great it really is.

When hovering over each part, you'll see which attributes the part improves. For example, you'll see that upgrading your engine improves your speed, acceleration, and traction. Once you get enough credits, you can go ahead and purchase a new bike if you'd like.
