Adventure sequel LostWinds 2: Winter of the Melodias blowing onto iOS tomorrow
Can it beat Bronze?
LostWinds 2: Winter of the Melodias, the sequel to Pocket Gamer Bronze Award-winning adventure title LostWinds, has just blown into the New Zealand App Store, meaning it'll be available in the UK and US from around midnight this evening.
This sequel follows a young boy named Toku as he - along with his Wind Spirit, Enril - journeys through various picturesque locations in order to rescue his mother Magdi before her time runs out.
In this follow-up game, you are able to change the in-game world from summer to winter to overcome puzzles and enemies. Using the summer sun to melt large ice lakes or freezing moisture-laden clouds with cold skies can often lead to the discovery of hidden secrets, for example.
You can also utilise Enril's cyclone power to propel Toku into new areas and to bash enemies.
LostWinds 2: Winter of the Melodias will be available in the UK and US from around midnight this evening. The Universal app will set you back £2.49 / $3.99.
