Out at midnight: Blast through bricks in the Millennium Falcon in Lego Star Wars: Microfighters

Taking inspiration from the Lego Micro Fighters sets, Lego Star Wars: Microfighters is a top-down shooter that's bound for the UK and US App Stores later tonight.

Lega Star Wars: Microfighters is a little different from the rest of the Lego Star Wars games.

In this one, you see, you control X-wings, TIE Fighters, and even the Millennium Falcon as you blast through the 18 fully destructible Lego brick levels.

Despite the slight change in genre here, though, you still have to collect studs for purchasing upgrades. And you'll definitely need to buy new ships and upgrade them to take on the game's eight bosses and survive.

If you think you're up to the task, Lego Star Wars: Microfighters will be available on the UK and US App Stores at midnight. It'll set you back 69p / 99c.
