Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on 3DS to include 'Master Quest'
Good. Now do it again
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is an undisputed classic, but there's some scepticism about the upcoming 3DS remake.
Fans seem unsure about paying full price for a 13-year-old game that most already own or have already played.
At GDC last week Nintendo attempted to allay these fears.
It announced that Ocarina of Time 3D will include Ocarina of Time: Master Quest: an eight-year-old game that only some fans already own.
It's a small step, admittedly, but it's good news for the Zelda hardcore. Master Quest was originally bundled with special edition copies of The Wind Waker for Nintendo GameCube.
It's a reconfigured version of Ocarina that, while following the same plot, introduces new puzzles and harder enemies to ramp up the challenge.
We're not yet sure if this is the same Master Quest as on GameCube, but hopefully Nintendo will cram some new surprises in for Zelda devotees.
Will that be enough to win fans over? Let us know what you think.
