Knights of Pen & Paper updated with new monsters and dungeons

Paradox Interactive and Behold Studios have levelled-up the iOS and Android versions of Knights of Pen & Paper by adding new dungeons and lengthening the campaign of the joke-filled retro RPG.

Cleverly entitled the +1 Edition, this updated version of the pixel-art quest-'em-up contains a chunk of new content for you to play around with.

In the new dungeons, there are new monsters, traps, treasures, and powerful bosses. All of these elements form part of an extended campaign that's packed full of even more content.

You can now visit a tavern to swap your heroes and leave others to rest while you're out adventuring. More character options, meanwhile, result in a greater depth to the dice-rolling battles.

At review, we gave Knights of Pen & Paper a Silver Award, and said that it was "the closest you'll get to a classic pen-and-paper game of Dungeons & Dragons on Android".

This new update is free to anyone who's already downloaded the game.

If you haven't taken the Knights of Pen & Paper plunge yet, you can grab this iOS and Android app now for £1.99 / $2.99 from both the App Store [buy] and Google Play [buy].
