Knights of Pen & Paper 2 brings a new rule set to the table on iOS and Android this May

Paradox has announced that Knights of Pen & Paper 2 will be heading to iOS and Android on May 14th.

It should come as no surprise to find out that this is the sequel to the Silver Award-winning Knights of Pen & Paper. And, once again, it's a turn-based adventure commanded by dice rolls.

The set-up is also identical: a group of teenagers are playing a classic pen & paper RPG, and you join them. They're fully customisable and so are the characters they role-play as.

The changes and additions are many even if they don't change the game's fundamentals. However, paramount among them is a new rule set for you to get used to.

As you choose the classes for the players you might notice the addition of customisable races, including Dwarves and Elves.

There are also new quests, new loot and equipment, an improved turn-based combat system, and a new crafting system. The pop culture jokes are also prevalent, of course.

Oh, and as you'll see in the screenshots, the sequel moves the game from 8-bit to 16-bit graphics.
