Out now: Build your own worlds and have amazing adventures in them with Junk Jack X for iOS

I don't know. You wait ages for a side-scrolling craft-'em-up for iOS and then two come along on the same day. First it was Terraria, now it's Junk Jack X.

Junk Jack X is the sequel to the Bronze Award-winning Junk Jack, a game that dropped you into a pixel-art world and asked you to survive.

This sequel has a few more parameters, thanks to an adventure mode that sees you hopping between different randomly generated planets.

There's also a free-roaming creative mode that lets you build and craft to your pixely heart's content.

And, best of all, there's multiplayer included this time round, which lets four friends connect locally (or two friends connect online) to go and have crazy adventures in Junk Jack X's blocky worlds.

There are also new liquid physics, plants to grow, a soundtrack by Bright Primate, and a dynamic day/night system.
