Barry Steakfries returns to Android in Jetpack Joyride

The last time we saw Barry Steakfries, he was frantically trying to escape from a bunch of mad scientists and avoid deadly traps on Apple's iPhone and iPad.

The foul-mouthed Jetpack Joyride action hero did manage to break free, but he's accidentally landed in the confines of Amazon's Android-centric Appstore.

For those of you who've managed to avoid our past coverage of Halfbrick's endless-flyer, it tasks you with dodging missiles, lasers, and a variety of other traps while collecting coins and completing missions, such as flying set distances.

The glittering coins you do collect can be spent on all-new jetpacks, power-ups, and costumes, including a top hat and a snazzy suit.

You can download Jetpack Joyride for free [download].

Numerous gaming platforms and endless hours of button bashing have passed following that moment, with iOS taking the crown as his current favourite.
