Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition to bring 60 FPS superhero fighting to the Vita in November

After months of shouting encouragement at sweaty PS Vitas on treadmills, Armature Studio say it has pushed Sony's handheld to its limits with Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition.

The goal with this Ultimate Edition on Vita is to ensure it has all of the features of the console version. Yes, don't fret, this isn't the rather poor iOS version of the game.

Writing on the PlayStation Blog, Armature says that the hard work means that the Vita version includes "beautiful lighting, destructible environments, and – most importantly – 60 FPS fighting." All of the game's DLC will also be included in the Ultimate Edition, too.

Armature has also added ad-hoc multiplayer, wi-fi multiplayer, and touch controls to the Story Mode and various S.T.A.R. Labs Missions for the Vita.

If this were anybody else boasting all of these features, we'd be sceptical. But as Armature previously delivered the Gold Award-winning Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, and given that Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate is looking sweet, we'll nod along.

You can look forward to Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition flooding your Vita with superheroes on November 29th in Europe, and November 12th in North America.
