Infinity Blade II for iOS gets ClashMob update with co-operative online challenges, new in-game perks, and more
Reduced to £2.99/$4.99 for a limited time
Chair Entertainment's Pocket Gamer Silver Award-winning hack 'n' slash-'em-up Infinity Blade II has not only been updated with new content, but it's also been slashed in price.
The update introduces an all-new multiplayer game mode named ClashMob, which allows you to complete frequent co-operative online challenges for unique rewards. Furthermore, recruiting your friends to your very own Mob will unlock special in-game perks, rewards, and achievements.
Infinity Blade II version 1.1 also features the ability to forge your own custom gem upgrades using the in-game Gem Forge, and utilise "over two dozen" new weapons and armours.
As mentioned above, this sequel has been slashed in price for a limited time, meaning you can currently download it from the App Store as a Universal app for £2.99 / $4.99.
Future updates will expand Infinity Blade II's single-player campaign with new challenges, enemies, and items, so it's probably best to grab it while it's cheap-ish.
