Infinity Blade II, Chair's sequel to its bestselling action-adventure game Infinity Blade, has just slashed its way onto the New Zealand App Store, meaning UK and US punters can download it at around midnight.

Infinity Blade II for iPhone and iPad picks up from where the PG Gold Award-winning original left off, so you join sword-wielding knight Siris as he battles to unfold the secrets of the Infinity Blade. And slay a few bad dudes.

This Unreal Engine-powered follow-up includes three brand-new combat styles, with players getting to choose between dual-wielding, two-handed, and shield-based load-outs.

It also features revamped character customisation, allowing you to forge weapons with objects you collect and discover along your journey.

Infinity Blade II is a Universal app, will be downloadable in the UK and US later tonight, and will cost £4.99 / $6.99.
