Pocket Gamer Connects London 2017: I Love Hue is a complex, colourful puzzler
Have an eye for colour

Yesterday I had the pleasure of chatting with Fritz Solares about his upcoming puzzler, I Love Hue.

This may sound familiar to you guys - and you'd be right - I'd covered the game just before Christmas, but I'll tell you now that it's much more complex than I gave it credit for. Though I have an exceptionally accurate representation of colour (according to the various tests out there), the way the puzzler were presented threw my mind into disarray in the most wonderful way.
Both more complex and detailed, the puzzler was an utter joy to work through. It definitely won't be one for everyone as it's got no timer and no real sense of urgency, but it is a relaxing experience with a pleasing aftermath as you finally set the final piece into place.
Coming next Thursday the 26th, I Love Hue has 300 levels with potentially more to come and potentially a community level designer sometime after that. The game with be free-to-play on iOS and Android.
