Nokia reveals N-Gage top sellers for 2008

Nokia's Hooked On: Creatures of The Deep was the best-selling N-Gage game in 2008, the company has revealed.

The rest of the top five comprised (in order): EA Mobile's Tetris, Gameloft's Asphalt 3: Street Rules, Glu's World Series of Poker Pro Challenge, and EA Mobile's FIFA 08.

All of the top five were released in April when N-Gage launched, showing the intense early interest in Nokia's platform.

Nokia has also revealed the top five best-rated games by N-Gage Arena players. Nokia's ONE takes top spot with an average rating of 4.632 out of 5, followed by Creatures Of The Deep (4.558), Dirk Dagger and the Fallen Idol (4.361), Reset Generation (4.359) and Resident Evil: Degeneration (4.322).

It's interesting that there's such a difference between the two charts. You can read our N-Gage Quality Index by clicking here, which tracks reviewer scores.

Meanwhile, in the latest weekly sales chart for N-Gage, Tetris has held onto top spot, with World Series of Poker and Resident Evil: Degeneration behind it.
