Heroish, Sunblink's card-battling MOBA-lite, has received a huge update alongside PC and console launch

Sunblink, the team behind Apple Arcade's Heroish, has announced that the card-battling MOBA is now available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One, with a Nintendo Switch launch planned for January 2nd. But that's not all. The release coincides with a new update across all platforms, including Apple Arcade.

The update is Heroish's biggest yet. It introduces 18 cards, while dozens of others have received tweaks. Elsewhere, veteran players can put their skills to the test with the new Brutal campaign difficulty. There are also new cards, heroes and currency to unlock by progressing through the 40-level track.

Discussing the game's success since launch, Julian Farrior, CEO and Founder of Sunblink, said: “An incredible community of players came out for the launch of HEROish on Apple Arcade and really understood what we were adding to this genre. This kind of fast-paced, strategic action can enrapture, but is sometimes daunting—we wanted to introduce a new audience to this excitement through the friendly, inviting lens of cards and deck building.”

“Some of the most talented game developers I’ve ever known helped ensure HEROish is warm and welcoming to new players, and the community’s feedback since launch has helped us polish the solo and multiplayer gameplay to a mirror sheen.”

If you're unfamiliar with Heroish, it is a card-battling game with MOBA elements. In it, players pick from one of six heroes before heading into battle to defeat enemies and topple their towers. Aside from the campaign, there are also competitive 1v1 or 2v2 matches to participate in.

Heroish is available on Apple Arcade, a subscription service that costs $4.99 monthly. Alternatively, you can grab it for $19.99 on Steam, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. Finally, if you're a Switch fan, it arrives on Nintendo's console on January 2nd.
