Heroes of the Dark's newest character is Avikelara, the Nightmare Queen, who specialises in draining her foe's lifeforce
Gameloft has announced that a new character is making its way into Heroes of the Dark. Her name is Avikelara, the Nightmare Queen. With a title like that, you're probably not expecting her to be the friendliest of folk, something that's confirmed when you discover she deals with her foes by bleeding them out and slowly draining their life force.
That all sounds appropriately terrifying, but what does it translate to in Herores of the Dark? Well, Avikelara's active ability is called Heartseeker and sees the Nightmare Queen lashing her targets with a whip, piercing them.
Beyond that, she has three passives. The first is Bloody Hell, which grants Avikelara additional Attack Speed and Power for every enemy that's Bleeding. Meanwhile, Sweet Suffering applies a stack of Bleeding and more of her Attack Power every third basic attack.
Her third and final passive is Her Cruelty, which reduces the damage of enemies with Bleed by four per cent. But that's not all. She also deals four per cent more damage to them for each stack of Bleeding. Things can get bloody very quickly, essentially.
If you're unfamiliar with Heroes of the Dark, it's an RPG that takes place in a dark fantasy setting, as you've probably guessed from Avikelara's look. The story centres around three factions - the Vampires, Werewolves and Humans.
You will assemble a team of five from these three factions, with each character bringing something different to the fight. So you'll want to find a squad of heroes that complete one another, whether that's through buffs or support skills that keep your damage dealers in the battle for longer.
