Glu has delivered on its promise of new content for Hero Project, adding co-op missions and more in a newly released update.

Players can now take on missions and battle opponents with the help of their friends, or fight-it-out alone across a host of new locations.

To help you fight the good fight, useful game tips are now displayed on loading screens.

Animations and graphics have also received an overhaul, with obligatory bug fixes and optimisations rounding out the list of new additions.

Hero Project is a freemium RPG that places you in the role of superhero and tasks you with jobs that range from rescuing cats to fighting armed criminals.

It's available for free on the iPhone and iPad.
