Big screen profanity

Telltale's Hector: Badge of Carnage coming to iPad on April 27th

Hector: Badge of Carnage, an ambitious attempt at an original point-and-click adventure on iPhone, caught our attention when it hit the App Store last year.

Featuring adult themes, adult dialogue, and adult situations, the game is well-acted and often laugh-out-loud funny.

Unfortunately, the puzzles are too random. It scored a disappointing 6/10 at review, and the promised second and third instalments never arrived.

But adventure supremo Telltale Games spotted its potential and picked up the licence back in February, promising to publish the new episodes later this year, as well as an iPad version of the first game.

We have a date for that one. Hector: Badge of Carnage will be available for iPad on April 27th, meaning you'll be able to interact with heroin addicts and prostitutes on the big screen prior to the royal wedding.
