It's a packed August and September

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery adds new location, Nicolas Flamel, and Goblet of Fire's 20th anniversary festivities
  • Go back to Hogwarts with new limited-time events
  • Harry's birthday celebration continues
  • YouTube livestream coming up

All set with putting your green thumb to the test? As a Potterhead myself, I always feel like there's never a limit to how many times you can go back to Hogwarts - and in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, you can do just that with its latest "back to school" special. Throughout August, you can expect to frolick around in the wizarding world across multiple campaigns and fresh narratives, all the way until the end of September.

In particular, Japan itself will be featured as a playable location in Beyond Hogwarts Volume 2, with free outfits to be given away as well in honour of Harry Potter’s birthday. This also coincides with the 20th anniversary of the Goblet of Fire, so suffice it to say there's a lot to look forward to.

Additionally, the “Start of Term Mayhem” event kicks off students' years with a terrible start - something's making everyone fail their assignments left and right, but you're not going to let that slip past you, are you?

Meanwhile, the new “The Alchemist” special adventure will welcome Nicolas Flamel to the fray, and finally, the Harry Potter Livestream Celebration will air on the Official Harry Potter YouTube Channel at 11 AM BST on September 1st.

It certainly seems like a fantastic time to be a Harry Potter fan! In the meantime, if you're eager to join in on all the fun, you can do so by checking out Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery on the App Store or on Google Play. It's free-to-play with in-app purchases.
