Gameloft takes another freemium step with GT Racing: Motor Academy Free +
In-app purchases aplenty
Gameloft has released GT Racing: Motor Academy Free +, a freemium racing title packed with in-app purchases.
As with Gameloft's previous (abandoned) forays into the freemium market, the game is free to download
You then have the option of buying credits, cash, and experience packs via in-app purchase, which allow you to purchase cars and upgrades or rise through levels quickly, unlocking extra content in the process.
Furthermore, you can add multiplayer functionality to the game for £1.19/$1.99.
GT Racing: Motor Academy Free + includes 107 licensed cars from 25 manufacturers, all of which can be tuned and upgraded. A wide variety of tracks, local and online multiplayer for up to six people, and a number of leaderboards are also on offer.
