Having only added iPad support to its drag-and-drop game creation tool at the end of last month, GameSalad creator Gendai Games has announced its software was behind 13 of the top 100 paid apps on the format's launch day.

The highest place title was Picture Hunter HD by Stacey Bennett, which charted at #47.

In all, 25 games made using GameSalad were available on iPad's launch day, the company proclaiming that the software has already enjoyed incredible success on the format.

The current total of 13 games is up from its initial claims that placed GameSalad's chart success at 11 titles.

The firm is no doubt keen to show its strength in the face of its competitor Unity, which claimed 15 games available for iPad on day one.

GameSalad's launch day rundown was as follows:

#47 Picture Hunter HD by Stacey Bennett
#51 Doodle Cannon HD by Steve Hoffman
#57 Tumble Blocks HD by Stacey Bennett
#60 Go Ladybug, GO! by James Fletcher
