Tin Man Games ready to release beta of Gamebook Adventures 1: An Assassin in Orlandes for Android

Tin Man Games has announced on its blog that it's been "heads-down hard at work" trying to get its gamebook engine working on Android-powered devices ever since the release of Gamebook Adventures 8: Infinite Universe for iOS.

In fact, the Australia-based developer is ready to release its first Android open beta.

"We are very very close to our first open beta on Android," Ben Britten, the studio's founder, said.

"I am happy to say that I posted a quick tweet and Facebook post asking for beta test volunteers and got double what I needed in just a few hours. Note to beta testers: Expect something early next week in your inboxes."

Britten also posted the image you can see below, which shows the first book in this interactive fiction series, Gamebook Adventures 1: An Assassin in Orlandes, running on a Samsung Galaxy Tab and a Nexus One.

Unfortunately, Britten wasn't as forthcoming with a release date for An Assassin in Orlandes on Android, but he did say it will arrive "soon".
