Pocket Gamer has got its hands on the release date of upcoming Fishlabs space shooter Galaxy on Fire 2. Mark your calendars: this epic game will hit iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on October 27th.
Having originally released Galaxy on Fire 2 as a mobile game, Fishlabs has spent a good year getting it ready for its iPhone debut. This means more or less starting the game from scratch, as the creators have added delicious Retina visuals, loads of new content, and a storyline finessed by professional writers.
The intergalactic trading sim, which has you completing missions and collecting loot, is all about customisation. With shops crammed with upgrades and collectible blueprints, Galaxy on Fire 2 gives you thousands of possibilities.
We recently played the iPad edition, remarking that, “Galaxy on Fire 2 looks to be living up to very high expectations.”
