Funko Pop! Blitz’s next event features the Around the World collection

Funko Pop! Blitz, the match-3 game based on the collector’s items of the same name, is releasing a new event this week on iOS and Android.

This week’s in-game event features the Around the World collection, which contains Funko Pop figures from exotic destinations from across the globe appearing in every game on Blitz. You can travel to Mexico to visit Rosa the Xoloitzcuintli, or take a trip to Australia with Ozzy the koala. There’s also Finley the clever Irish fox and Barkingham the bulldog in the Queen’s Royal Guard.

These Funko Pop figures will begin appearing in each game you play, but collecting all the ones from the event results in you being able to unbox the Legendary Event Pop Tula the Brazilian toucan in a lush feathery Carnival garb.

The Around the World event runs from now until 3rd February so there’s plenty of time to launch the game and see about grabbing these new Pop figures. To add them to your collection, you must clear maps from the board in every match to collect passports to travel the world. If you need more passports to complete the stages available this week, you can equip any of the featured Event Pops to help you do so.

Funko Pop! Blitz is a match-3 puzzler which features Funko Pop versions of characters from iconic media such as Back to the Future, The Breakfast Club, Shrek, The Office, and Parks and Recreation. It runs new events each week, and thus more chances to collect characters you love.
