Eyedip’s Flight Doodle is about to receive a themed update to celebrate Halloween.

The game, which sees players tilting to steer a rising hot air balloon past spikes, falling obstacles, and other dangers, is about to go all spooky on us.

Falling pitchforks, rock-throwing zombies, and a dark, brooding evening sky should add a creepy feel to the usually light-hearted balloon-‘em-up.

It’s more than a cosmetic update, though. Eyedip is launching a Halloween costume competition using the in-game balloon editor.

Winning costumes could earn lucky aeronauts gift cards, iPod touchs (4G) and the best entries will be included in the game permanently.

Flight Doodle is available on the App Store now for £0.59 / $0.99 / €0.79.

Details of the costume contest can be found on Flight Doodle’s Facebook page.
