Flick Kick Football iPhone gets new multiplayer features, modes in update

Until now, PikPok's hit time-waster Flick Kick Football has been a relatively solitary pursuit.

The latest update to the football-themed casual game on iPhone and iPad adds new social features and a brand new Skillshot mode.

Game Center achievements and leaderboards were already included, but the update adds the ability to invite friends to multiplayer matches.

Those who have OpenFeint accounts will be able to go one step further and use the Send a Shot function to send their best shots to their friends, who will receive a notification the next time they log in.

Skillshot mode, billed as a true test for Flick Kick Football pros, requires you to hit the skill zones as many times as you can in one minute.
