Five Nights at Freddy's 4 announced for release in October, on Halloween
Pretty sure it's been more than five nights by now...
You're probably thinking to yourself, "Another Five Nights at Freddy's game?"
That's right! Five Nights at Freddy's 4 is headed to PC and most likely iOS and Android devices near you this October; on Halloween, to be exact.
See the proof for yourself on developer Scott Cawthon's website. Take note, the site is currently experiencing a ton of traffic and might not load for you. It is a popular game.
This time around, developer Scott Cawthon is giving himself over half a year, and it makes sense why.
If the game's full title is anything to believe, Five Nights at Freddy's 4: The Final Chapter will, indeed, be the last game in the series.
It's easy to say that Cawthon has just been pumping the games out since the first one's success, but it hasn't been without effort. The Five Nights at Freddy's games have received pretty consistent acclaim since day one.
We gave the first two games Gold Awards for their "knuckle-biting tension" and clever mechanics.
Five Nights at Freddy's 3 got a Bronze Award for being "atmospheric, scary," but a bit too "obscure" for anyone but die-hard fans.
Is Cawthon milking the series? Maybe. There's even a Five Nights at Freddy's movie in the works.
But hey, it's doing well and people seem to love it. Are you looking forward to Five Nights at Freddy's 4? Let us know in the comments below!
