We knew a little while ago that Campo Santo's Firewatch was headed to Nintendo Switch, but didn't quite know when. Well, surprise! You can get in on Nintendo eShop now for £14.99/$19.99.

Firewatch is a short, but intimate, tale set in 1989. After facing some seriously challenging life events, the protagonist, Henry, takes up a job as a fire lookout in Wyoming. A three-day hike into the wilderness and a good day of sleep later, your supervisor, Delilah, gives you your first task.

Considering you never quite see another player face-to-face, there's an interesting sense of relationship built up throughout the game. Twin that with lots of little details hidden about the world and plenty of laugh-out-loud banter between Henry and Delilah, and you've got yourself a nice, chilled experience on the go.

While it's a mix of a walking simulator, first-person mystery, and narrative adventure, this is a game that sticks in your mind for many different reasons. From exceptional voice acting, stunning visual aesthetic, excellent writing, and an engaging story, this is a game I don't hesitate to recommend.
