4 Doctor Who mobile games to last you until the Christmas special
|

With Christmas on the horizon we've got delicious food, family time, and classic programs to look forward to. What's more classic than the Doctor Who Christmas special?

To get you in the mood here's a selection of pretty neat Doctor Who games to whet your whistle.

Doctor and the Dalek

Despite what sounds like an odd children's book title, Doctor and the Dalek is an official BBC game for the popular show. The premise is unheard of as you (the Doctor) and a Dalek companion have to traverse the galaxy to find the Orbs of Fate. To fail in your mission would mean the total destruction of earth.

Grab the game on the App Store free-to-play.

Paradise Towers - Lego Doctor Who Version

Originally released in March this year, Paradise Towers puts you through the ringers as you make your way through a Doctor Who-themed stunt school. Unlock all of the achievements by completing the 40+ different levels and compete against your friends with the online leader board.

It's free-to-play on the App Store now.

Doctor Who: The Mazes of Time

This one's a little older than the previous two in this list, but it's produced by the BBC and has quite a few decent reviews. The Mazes of Time is an action/puzzler in which you (the Doctor) and your sidekick Amy Pond complete a series of over 100 puzzles to defeat a rogue Dalek and save a lost family.

The game goes for £1.49/$1.99 on the App Store.

Doctor Who: Legacy

Doctor Who: Legacy is a free-to-play match-three puzzler that Kotaku once called "one of the best examples of free-to-play". It's fairly straight forward and so far contains over 100 hours of Doctor Who-approved story and gameplay with regular content updates.

Grab the game on the App Store or on Google Play now.
