Harvest turnips on the move

Could FarmVille be coming to iPhone, iPad, and Android?

Gaming sleuth website Superannuation has found registrations for some rather interesting website domains, that could point to Facebook's most popular game, FarmVille, heading to mobile platforms.

A San Francisco address has registered the domain names 'farmvilleandroid.com', 'farmvilleipad.com', 'farmvilleiphone.com' and farmvillesms.com', which, is pretty compelling evidence that the ultra popular agricultural time waster is making its way to iPhone, iPad, Android, and SMS.

We ran a story a couple weeks back about how Zynga now allows United States Mafia Wars players to send in commands over SMS. Perhaps you'll soon be able to text a number to harvest your turnips.

The domains, all registered to '303 Second Street Suite 800N', have different addresses to FarmVille.com (444 De Haro Street) and Zynga.com (365 Vermont Street Suite A), but shares the exact same address with MafiaWars.com.

And if that wasn't enough proof, Joystiq asked Zynga for comment. "Zynga plans to expand to various mobile platforms, but unfortunately, we cannot provide additional information at this time."

So if you like endlessly harvesting strawberries, you might soon be able to do it on the go.
