As I wrap up for the day, it's time to cover an actual major new launch today (that isn't a social gaming app). And that's LINE Games' and Wizely&Co's FairyTale Quest! A fast-paced, retro action-RPG that we covered late last year. Now available on iOS and Android, it'll be up to you to secure your happily ever after here.
It doesn't take a genius to guess what the selling point of FairyTale Quest is, as you step into the mystical boots of different famous characters from folklore. Wielding different weapons, they'll be slicing and dicing their way through endless hordes of enemies in fine roguelite fashion.
But FairyTale Quest is also set to boast a host of interesting mechanics, such as major bosses to take on, a variety of different modes and maps to explore that will prove crucial to overcoming the ghouls and ghosties that're after you.

There's not much for me to say about FairyTale Quest other than this, since the depth of the different customisation options, the variety of rewards on offer and indeed the exciting action to be had go without saying. But as I put it before, there's something of Vampire Survivors about this that I find quite interesting.If you've been keeping an eye on this and playing in the pre-open period, you'll be glad to know that your progress is transferring over to the full release. And both new and existing players should check in, because there's a host of introductory rewards arriving as part of the Milestone Event.
