Enter the Gungeon & Exit the Gungeon out now on mobile
  • Enter and Exit the Gungeon are both now available on iOS and Android
  • It sees the hit isometric bullet hell debut on mobile for the first time
  • Meanwhile, Exit the Dungeon moves away from its former Apple Arcade exclusivity

If you're looking for action and adventure this weekend, then you've already got plenty of great choices on mobile. But if the whiff of gunpowder is the icing on the cake, then you're in luck. Because Devolver Digital has finally brought Enter the Gungeon and arcade-action sequel Exit the Gungeon to mobile!

Available now to try for free (with an in-app purchase to unlock the whole experience) Enter the Gungeon offers super fast-paced isometric bullet-hell action. Blast your way through the titular Gungeon, unlocking new weapons and characters as you dodge your way past hordes of enemies in a procedurally-generated adventure.

And once you've managed to get through all of that, then you've got to Exit the Gungeon. In this side-scrolling sequel, the action is just as frantic, but there's a whole new perspective to the chaos as you attempt to blast your way out of the Gungeon and reach the surface with all-new weapons and abilities.

No exit

This is a doubly exciting launch because not only is Enter the Gungeon a well-regarded classic of the genre, but Exit the Gungeon was previously an Apple Arcade-exclusive. Now, fans can jump into both for the first time ever on iOS and Android.

And those of you who are devout indie fans will also recognise a whole new playable character being dropped into the fray as the titular leader of Cult of The Lamb joins the fray, allowing you to blast your way out as this diabolical woolly menace.

If you want to keep up with all the best launches from last week, it can seem pretty overwhelming. But don't worry, because we've already got you covered with our own list of the top five new mobile games to try this week, a regular feature offering our own picks of the top launches!
