ngmoco is very open about its game design process, regularly blogging about the development of new titles while they're still under construction. Its latest post reveals details about the LiveFire online FPS, and how players will be able to buy upgrades within the game.

This particular blog post concentrates mainly on an in-game character's armour, which will upgrade gradually through play, or can be purchased by players using the in-game commerce system.

Artists from the original Halo game have been recruited to design suits of armour for purchase within LiveFire, and gamers will be allowed to own several set and switch between them from game to game.

The next blog post promises to elaborate on how weaponry and gameplay will work with the game's microstransactions as the game nears its Alpha stage.
