Phil Hassey's top-down sneak-'em-up Dynamite Jack will be slinking onto the iPad on June 28th.

Currently available on PC and Mac, the Galcon creator's latest title casts you as an enslaved space marine attempting to escape from the mines in which he is imprisoned.

Creeping out with your bonce intact will be no mean feat, however, as the cavernous mines are populated by watchful guards, all of which are capable of ending your quest for freedom with a single skull-invading bullet.

Short fuse

Luckily, as his explosive moniker would imply, Jack has access to an unlimited supply of dynamite. This allows him to set traps of his own, and lure his would-be captors to a grisly end.

Speaking of brutal deaths, gorehounds will be pleased to read that the iPad version will feature the all-new 'Roger Wilco' death scenes, which replace Jack's standard fade-to-black demise with a collection of more viscerally interesting fatalities.

Featuring a map editor, community sharing support, and a platform-exclusive line-drawing control scheme, Dynamite Jack will be available for the iPad on June 28th, priced at £1.99 / $2.99.
