Devolver Digital bringing Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition to PS Vita soon
Who wants some?
Update: The original version of this story erroneously stated that Devolver Digital was the developer of Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition. It's the publisher.
The mobile version of Duke Nukem 3D was faithful to the classic '90s first-person shooter, but it was hampered by shoddy controls. In other words, it was just another in a long line of disappointing Duke Nukem games.
But if you're still willing to give the ailing franchise a chance then you'll be interested to hear that a PS Vita version of Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition is on the way.
Yesterday, publisher Devolver Digital tweeted a picture of the game running on a PS Vita, saying, "Here's Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition running on a @PlayStation Vita. That is all."
Devolver's other credits include the Serious Sam games and Hotline Miami.
And Devolver also made reference to Abstraction Games - the developer that brought Hotline Miami to PS Vita - in the ensuing thread on Twitter.
The Megaton Edition of Duke Nukem 3D is available on Steam.
