THQ Wireless and Shamrock Games will be bringing the latest Dreamworks comedy animation Megamind to the smaller screen of Java-enabled mobile phones this month.

Megamind the game begins from where the film ends, following the titular Megamind on a new adventure as he attempts to stop The Conductor from wrecking havoc on Metro City.

In true film tie-in fashion, the game is split into a variety of parts, including platforming sections spent jumping through a Power Plant, driving across the highway, and shooting villains from a turret on top of a moving train.

There are 14 levels to play through, with three levels of difficulty, weapon upgrades for each of the five weapons, and 22 achievements to aim for.

Megamind is due out on mobile gaming networks this November.
