Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat set to open up registration for the next phase of closed beta testing, beginning in the next few weeks

The upcoming highly anticipated action RPG Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat has announced that the next phase of beta testing is due out in a few months' time after the end of the previous phase in a recent tweet. This next phase will be held during the month of May, and offers up another chance for players who missed the first to try out the game ahead of the launch date later this year.

Peak of Combat is based off of the extremely popular Devil May Cry series, as the name suggests, which is a heavily action-focused hack-n-slash franchise known for its complex combat systems and deep combo-based gameplay. All of the characters are well-written and known all around the gaming community, and their moves are flashy and intricate, making for a very interesting and complex way of fighting within each entry into the series.

Now, with Peak of Combat, DMC is hoping to bring that high-octane complex combo action right to our pockets. This release has been fully optimised for mobile devices, allowing players to skip past the tricky button requirements to perform well within the console games, and instead use simple touch controls to do crazy awesome moves left and right.

With this being an officially licensed release, you’re going to see all of your usual favourite characters here too. From the protagonist of the series Dante to his rival Vergil and even the prodigal son Nero, you’ll have plenty of different characters to learn and dissect into their best selves.

This next closed beta test will be closed just as the previous one was and will focus on getting a random lottery of players into its fold, so be sure you register at that link featured in the tweet above. In the meantime, you can check out the official website for a deeper look at the game.
