Counter-Strike meets Guerrilla Bob in Crescent Moon’s forthcoming multiplayer shooter Deadlock, new screens
Twin-stick blaster supports 8 players, asynchronous online tournaments
If you’re a fan of online multiplayer shooters then Crescent Moon’s forthcoming iPhone game Deadlock may be up your street.
This twin-stick isometric shooter is out next month, and the developer was kind enough to send us over some brand new screenshots this morning. You can view them in our gallery.
It’s a military-style multiplayer game in the vein of Counter-Strike. It supports up to eight players, and features over 30 weapons in total, with a loadout system that allows you to select from a variety of attachments and armour.
There’s also a ranking system, with unlocks and rewards as you progress, and Game Center compatibility for leaderboards and achievements.
At launch, the game will carry three different gameplay modes – Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Capture & Hold - while the five maps provided will be expanded via downloadable content. Meanwhile, daily and weekly online tournaments offer unlock rewards for the best players.
There’s no official release date or price for this universal app just yet, but Crescent Moon has suggested Deadlock will arrive some time in June.
