Madfinger reveals real-time, global team concept behind zombie apocalypse FPS Dead Trigger 2
Coming to iOS and Android this summer
Czech developer Madfinger has been teasing Dead Trigger 2 since CES 2013.
I got my hands on the brief demo a month later at Mobile World Congress, but the big reveal will be next week at E3.

In the meantime, however, Madfinger has released a short video demonstrating the sort of graphical improvements we can expect from the game if we're lucky enough to be running a device packed with a Tegra 4 chip.
It takes brainzAs for the gameplay, Madfinger points out its "much larger ambitions".
"The first time you play Dead Trigger 2, you become part of a global conflict. You are not alone and you are not playing only for yourself. You are one of many survivors across continents and from different parts of the world," explains CEO Marek Rabas.
"While there are individual objectives within the context of the game, you must align your efforts together with other players to fulfill a joint global objective."
In keeping with this concept, when the game is released, players will be thrust into a post-apocalypse world that's been under attack from zombies for two years.
Events will then roll out in real-time, with updates driven by player feedback.
Of course, there will also be more detailed and better animated zombies, more guns - including static positions and helicopter-based snipers - more gadgets, and yes - more zombies.
Dead Trigger 2 will be a free-to-play game released for iOS and Android, and possibly Facebook, Steam and Mac, during the summer.
